I am a Neuropsychologist with an interest in the development of the brain following exposure in utero to medications.
My group is currently involved in a number of projects including:
- investigating the potential impact of anti epileptic drugs on fetal brain development and later child cognitive functioning
- investigating the potential impact of transient seizure exposure in the womb and later child development
- the concePTION study which is looking to improve pharmacovigilance of medication use in pregnancy for both maternal and child outcomes
